Earlier today in the evening I got an opportunity to attend 2017 StartmeupHK Venture Forum.

It was my first time and it was quite an interesting moment for me as I was able to learn much about startups, technology and its advancement plus how and what startups are doing not only in Hong Kong but around the globe.

These are the TOP 10 things I learned.

1. The robot population is increasing and will soon overcome human population. Make sure you are well-adapted to the technology.

2. Artificial Intelligence is getting better and better. It is going to disrupt most of our work industries. Don’t panic but time to think what can we do better with them together.

3. Our future generation needs to be taught something newer than the traditional school subjects so their knowledge can contribute to create smarter (and sustainable) cities.

4. Healthcare will be helped a lot by technology, so prepare to live longer, better and older but think what can be done for the old aged.

5. Talking about startups, you are never too young to start one or two.

6. You don’t have to inspire young children all the time but can let the young kids to inspire you instead. They will bring smile on your face too :)

7. How about teaching entrepreneurship from very young age and in every schools? Local schools as well as international schools!

8. When you are always alert living in dangerous situation most of the time, you also become quite innovative on how to develop new ways to survive.

9. You can do more than looking at some virtual objects or places with augmented reality. How about teaching or learning via it?

10. Magic is fun but how about storytelling with it. And yes adding technology to it is more fun!

EXTRA: It is okay to keep secret tricks with you but letting others know and creating an open source for collaboration can be more rewarding!

If you have learned more than this please share with me. Would love to learn more and will appreciate it. Thank you!
